Men's Business Dress shoes with Rubber Soles?

I am looking for nice business shoes (to wear with Suits and Business casual) for work ... Most dress shoes I see in stores have rubber soles. While I can understand that rubber soles are more practical and comfortable than leather soles, are they acceptable in business today? Years ago I would never think of wearing rubber soles - because they wear considered cheezy (like wearing Hush Puppies) - but are they acceptable today when worn with suits and business casual? Am I simply out of touch with today%26#039;s shoe styles?

They are just much more comfortable to walk in. The rubber cushions the bottom of the foot. Your not out of touch or anything,my husband still wears his loafers with the hard bottom ,i tease him though as they click across the office floor. I got him some nice leather square toed dress shoes,he%26#039;s a doctor so he wears shirt and tie everyday, anyways i git them at a store called journeys ,they are very dressy,but they have the rubber sole. You can check at journeys, or atsteve madden. They also both hve web sites so check it out.

I%26#039;m wearing a light blue and white dress, and silver jewelry for an event. Semi formal, not casual. I%26#039;d try to search for my dress online but it%26#039;s borrowed from a close pal. Okay, I found some on zappos.com. You can do a modified search there. Their service is fantastic, if you order Monday through Friday you get your shoes THE NEXT DAY!! Some of these shoes prices are outrageous, but you didn%26#039;t say how much you were looking to spend. I hope this helps! (Yes, I know some of these are kinda ugly. The most comfortable is Salvatore Ferragamo! Hands down! Worth every penny.





Nine West is not that bad either. I think the curvature of the sole really suits my feet. :)

Inserts to make dress shoes fit better?

I bought a pair of the cutest shoes online, and they are a little big, is there any kind of insert I can put in them to make them fit a little better? I really want to keep them because they are the style I want, and I have been looking shoes like this for a long time. They are white flat dress shoes. Any solutions you can recommend, would be greatly appreciated! :) Thanks!

try going to aldo and get some shoe inserts/padding. lol whenever i%26#039;m there they ask me if i want inserts because i wear size 7 1/2, but they only have full sizes... -_- so i end up getting size 8.

Comfortable Women's Dress Shoes?

I live in a city where all you do is walk and I need to find a nice pair of dress shoes I can wear to a professional job that won%26#039;t kill my feet. The shoes need to go with a skirt or suit. Any brand names that you found are comfortable? Or specific styles of shoes?

Comfortable Women%26#039;s Dress Shoes?
I have found that Franco Sarto and Nine West shoes work best for me. I particularly enjoy these brands because they have stylish shoes with varying degrees of heels---which is important for those of us who have to run around a lot all day!





Plus, while they%26#039;re a bit more pricey than what you might pay for a pair at Target, I think they%26#039;re worth it. I have a pair of Franco Sartos that I%26#039;ve had since 2002 and they%26#039;re still in excellent condition and they still sell the exact same shoe today at Macy%26#039;s! (I%26#039;m patting myself on the back right now for selecting a classic, timeless style!) :-)
